In order to keep this league simple and fun, this is how waivers will work. All players making 1.000 or less on their cap hit will not be required to go through waivers in order to be sent down to the AHL. All players making 1.100 or more, will be required to go through waivers and may be picked up by any team within 24 hours. Priority will be given to the lowest to highest teams in the overall standings. Waiver claims made before November 1st of the current season will be prioritized based on LAST YEAR'S standings. If you wish to put a player through waivers and send him down, you may make a thread here: hthl.proboards.com/board/12/team-waivers
Player's cap hit who are in the AHL does NOT count for your NHL team's cap hit. You may have as many players as you want in the AHL, as long as the required players go through waivers.
Every off season after the draft, players who have been sent down via waivers must go through waivers again. This will eliminate burying players in the AHL for a high cap hit.
GMs who are found sneaking players into the minors without putting him through waivers will be dealt with by the PR.

Re-entry waivers will be applied if you want to call up a player from the AHL who had to go through waivers. If a player is claimed through re-entry waivers, the team claiming him will only have to pay half of his cap hit for the rest of the season, with the other half counting against the original team's cap hit.
