Question: I signed up and registered, now what?
Answer: Congrats! You're now an official member of the board. Every GM needs a team, so please sign up for a vacant GM position here: hthl.proboards.com/thread/44/gm-signup?page=1&scrollTo=44. If there all the teams are taken, you may apply to be on the waiting list and you'll be notified once a team becomes open. First come first serve!
Question: I now have my team, what next?
Answer: Before you do any tinkering with your team, please copy and paste your roster into a new thread so that you have access to edit your roster page. The original one will be deleted afterwards. Next you may make a trade block by making a thread here: hthl.proboards.com/board/31/trade-blocks. Please also take a minute to go over and get familiar with the rules of the league here: hthl.proboards.com/board/1/general-rules.
Question: What's the right way of doing my roster page:
Answer: Your players and their rating will be posted for you. (You just need to copy and paste them into a new thread). You'll have to do your own salary cap calculations, you can find players salary and cap hits on www.capgeek.com OR www.nhlnumbers.com Please remember that you're adding up the CAP HIT not the PLAYER'S YEARLY SALARY.
Question: I want to be involved in the league a little more than being a GM. How can I do that?
Answer: Message either Myself or Bazinga if you'd like to be part of our staff. First come first serve.
Question: When will the season start?
Answer: As soon as the league is about 80% - 90% full, then you can expect sims to start. The simmer will announce the schedule at a later date.
Question: How often will I see sims?
Answer: We'll do our best to provide sims at least 4-5 times a week, with about 4-5 days simmed depending on how many games are played at the time.[/font]
