Your now one step closer to being a member of our sim league!
Just simply fill out the information below copy and paste it and personal message it to either Bounce (admin)or Bazinga (Admin) and thanks for choosing to join the Hat-Trick Hockey League!
General Manager participation is something that is considered mandatory on a regular basis. Even though we are running a fantasy hockey league, there are people who take this organization very seriously. The staff members spend countless hours designing and operating the league for you. There are several General Managers who participate faithfully on a daily basis and some would even say they live and breathe the HTHL.
We are not suggesting that you need to go to that extreme, as flattering as it may be, but as a HTHL General Manager, you are expected to participate regularly. The most important thing you should concentrate on is your team management. As a General manager you will need to actively pursue ways to make your team better via trades, UFA selections draft selections etc.
Team lines will need to be input to the league and the GM will be fully responsible for their team. Ignoring your team will result in poor performance in the standings. Failure to participate will result in termination. See the "Firing the General Manager" section for more information.
If for personal reasons you need sometime away from the game, or aren't as available as normal, let us know. We don't need to know the reasons...but we do need to know that you will not be around as much. If you simply vanish on us - we will have no choice but to assign the team a new GM. This is a game to be enjoyed. If you do not play the game the way it is intended, then you should not be a part of the game.
Above all else GM's should also treat each other with respect. Friendly banter and ribbing is part of the game but personal attacks, name-calling and fighting will not be tolerated and a disciplinary hearing will be handed out by one of our administrators (Ï.E Player suspensions, Cap deductions)
